Herman HOGANSON and the Twins

The following are two pictures of Herman HOGANSON that were clearly taken at the same time (c. 1908) and then printed onto postcards. In the first one he presumably is with his twin sisters, Clara and Mabel.

In the second one Herman is alone.

Interestingly on 28 Jul 1919, Herman sent this postcard from Barnesville, Minnesota to his older sister, Mina (HOGANSON) Roe, wishing her "birthday greetings." Mina's birthday was the 29th.

Clara and Mabel HOGANSON Family Group Sheets

Twins Clara and Mabel HOGANSON were born on 27 Dec 1902. Neither girl married or had any offspring. Clara died first on 20 Feb 1949; Mabel died on 8 May 1957.

Clara and Mabel HOGANSON: Minnesota State University (1924)

Imagine my surprise to see that Ancestry.com had a yearbook for Minnesota State University in Mankato for the year 1924. Clara and Mabel both appear in it on page 47 (see below).

Clara and Mabel HOGANSON Obituaries and Memorials

Clara HOGANSON passed away on 20 Feb 1949 and was laid to rest on 24 Feb at Riverside Cemetery in Jackson, MN.

Twin sister Mabel managed to live until 8 May 1957 and on 11 May she was also buried at Riverside Cemetery.
